Hiring actors to pretend to drive or own the bots is the lamest thing Battlebots has ever done. And somehow they still aren’t paying builders after all these years. Looking forward to streaming and binge watching the season, gonna miss Tombstone, I wish ray a speedy recovery, they should have made him a judge this season. Now waiting for team pics of all the teams that battled. I wonder who is fighting.
I still enjoy it but I’m getting tired of the spinner meta. It literally is “spin to win”. We need more flipper and hammer bots. Awesome now I can quit watching reruns of BattleBots. But it's good to go back and see how much the Box have evolved season after season that's pretty cool. Looks like a great season coming.

I have a pretty good idea on how to grow and expand the robotics sport. I wish it would but this is a bad idea. My plan to grow the brand will work.
Will the big name bots in this be watered-down, mass produced versions that are nowhere near as good as the genuine article? I can only image you'd have to do something like this to keep it cheap enough to make sense. Also clearly going to use hired talent to actually be stand-ins for the actual teams as they all have lives and jobs and couldn't possibly dedicate their time to this. Very bizarre development, IMO.

I also suspect the bots might not adhere to official Battlebots specs, perhaps to make them more robust. Still, this is probably the only show that could ever get me to go back to Vegas. Unfortunately, this will be the first season after my dad passed away. He and I designed a robot that seems impossible to do but on paper is cool as hell. I will be watching with my daughter and hoping she will fell in love with the show like my dad did with me with CC Battlebots. First, let me tell you a little bit about myself before I tell you the intent of this site.
I am looking forward to that. I am excited to see the rookies, as well as our old favorites. I’m sure it will be a great season, but sad those two won’t compete. Really wish they would have put the names since it isn't always easy to read and some are new or really new designs.

Weekly the specialness will be gone. I doubt I’ll watch it. Sorta like I don’t watch basketball until the sweet 16. I’ve watched battlebots back in the early 2000’s.
Is the ink on the birth certificate dry... Maybe there is still time... Someone make sure the parents know all of their options....
I wish there were more detailed damage reports after the fights, maybe on the youtube channel... Slots are designed where the expected value is known and the price charged is greater than the EV, thus guaranteeing to make money and you, the player, to lose money. Congrats to the parents! That's gonna make a hell of a story for the parents. What kind of creations do you guys have? I know you're interested to even be reading these comments.
I fear this might be Battlebots jumping the shark though. If your design hasn’t gone deep in the playoffs and you’ve been in the game for years, time to reimagine. Doing the same thing and expecting a different result is the definition of insanity.
Simple, I like design, but I also like working with my hand. Plus causing havoc out on the arena is always fun. Now you might be asking yourself that’s great and all but what about the cost? The cost of making a battlebot is based on how expensive you want to make it. Or you could go to your local hardware and look through junk in your garage and see what you could put together.

From my reading of the release, this will be a daily show, featuring some of the battlebots we all know and love. They say the action will be real, not faked. And that bots such as Witch Doctor and Hypershock will participate. But it doesn't say that the people behind those bots will actually be there and driving them.
